EatNew (a brand of Mike Drops Pty Ltd) is based in Sydney, Australia. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect when you use this site or send us your details, why we collect it, and how we look after it. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles and the Spam Act 2003.

What we collect

When you fill in our "Get EatNew free" form, we collect the details you give us: your venue name, your mobile number, and your email address if you choose to add one. When you submit the form, we also record basic technical information such as your approximate location and the page you came from, which we use to prevent spam and understand where enquiries come from.

If you become a venue on EatNew, we also hold your booking and guest information so the system can run your floor. That information belongs to you, and you can export or delete it at any time.

Why we collect it

We use your details for one reason: to reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to set up and run your booking system. We do not use your details for anything you have not asked for.

Where it is processed

Your details are handled by the trusted services we use to run EatNew: our booking and database backend, and our email delivery service. These providers process your information only so we can deliver the service to you.

We never sell or share it

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing. Ever.

Messages we send you

When you send us an enquiry, that request is your consent for us to reply to you about it by email or text. If we ever want to send you anything beyond that, such as occasional news or offers, we will ask for your clear opt-in first, and every message we send will identify us and include an easy way to opt out (reply STOP, or an unsubscribe link). For your guests, booking confirmations and reminders are sent on behalf of your venue and relate only to their booking.

Asking for your information or its deletion

You can ask us at any time to see what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email us and we will action it.
